"My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at what a nice campground this turned out to be! Everything is well taken care of. It was busy but we still had room to relax and do our own thing. It was quite at night. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Connects to Munger bike path.
Darrell works hard on the grounds to make sure everything is going smoothly. From showing you where your camp spot is to bringing you firewood. He is friendly and easy going. The campground is close to Duluth and other great parks for sightseeing. We will be back. Our pups enjoyed it too! And very nice that there was not a fee for dogs!"

"Darryl helped us out quite a bit on extending our stay after we totaled our toad. We were here a month and enjoyed the BH restaurant and bar and the state bike trail runs 7 miles to Carlton thru the state park or 10 miles into Duluth."

"Gave us a huge tenting sight at the end of the park. Beautiful sites and very quiet in the area we were at. Fire wood was $8 a bundle and they hosted live music and a classic car show! Highly recommend visiting!"
