"This campground is spectacular and super close to Duluth!
I went there with my mom and she absolutely enjoyed it.
We were warmly welcomed by the owners, which showed us where our site was. We arrived one day late due to some personal issues, but this was not a problem at all and we even got one day added to our original dates for free as our site was still available!
Talking about sites: everything is wonderfully clean and you’ll be surrounded by a thick birch forest. There is good space between the RV sites and definitely plenty between the tents.
The showers (which are coin operated - you’ll use quarters) allow you to get 5 minutes of warm water for a price of $1. The main restrooms were clean and there are also portable potties as well as lots of garbage cans on the campground.
They’ll also deliver firewood quick as a rocket ship to your site on request.
During the rest of this year, as Buffalo House is turning 50, there’s several events you could check in for your visit. When we were there, they had a live concert going on and a wonderful firework show."
